I graduated in June of 2008 with an SB from MIT's Mechanical Engineering department . I am currently taking a year off to work and travel before pursuing my dream of being a product designer at Stanford's d.school as a student in their Joint Program in Design (JPD).

I am particularly interested in universal design and designing for the elderly and disabled, but am willing to explore all types of design. I have outlined my inspiration in the statement of purpose I submitted along with my application to the JPD.
